Welcome to the National Conference on Building and Facility Operations

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2022 National Conference on Building and Facility Operations in Ottawa!

The Building Commissioning Association’s Eastern Canadian Chapter is proud to host this special conference for industry professionals and we are ecstatic to finally see our colleagues in person. Obviously, a lot has happened the past couple years and we recognize that industry has pivoted from indoor air quality to a renewed focus on decarbonization, energy utilization and electrification.

With that in mind, the theme for this year’s conference is a return to “Building Sustainability”. The conference is a single day event in our nation’s capital and we are thrilled to have a line-up of industry experts and exhibitors to discuss the leading innovations and best practices related to this industry shift. Whether it is for new construction or existing building, there are a lot of lessons to be learned and many of us are excited to share stories and insight face to face.
